Well we have finally had some good sunny weather. My seedlings are ready to go into the ground so now I am just finishing up the beds for them. We had our nieces for the holiday weekend and they have been a great help. It is so funny to see through their eyes how our little homestead works. They have been actively helping with the chickens, both putting them out and collecting eggs.
Everyone keeps telling me that I need to plan a menu now that both of us are back to work. So I started raiding the freezers and figuring it out. So this is my plan for the up coming week.
MONDAY:
Grilled Tilapia
Rice Pilaf
Zucchini
TUESDAY:
Hamburger Helper
Salad
WEDNESDAY:
Sausage w/Onions & Peppers
THURSDAY:
CHICKEN RATATOUILLE
FRIDAY:
Grilled Pizza
Now we will see how this actually works out for us. I am also going through my coupons so that when the sales start next week I will be ready to shop. I am trying to stockpile as well as meet the needs of the family.
