Organize Your Life

I was searching for useful organizational tools that won't break the bank. I found this website and so far so good.

http://www.yadahome.com/

I am listed under KrisKreationsNH so feel free to link to me. The nice thing is you can actually print out your lists.

From everyone I am talking to they keep saying that you need to schedule into your day time for everything. You keep doing this till it becomes a normal part of your day. So I am going out today to find a day planner that lists times all day long. I had also thought about just printing out something like that and making a binder but I am concerned that if it is to big I won't be able to fit it into my bag. I also need to get a large space calender. So that I can write everything in for each day. I think that this will help out alot since my husband helps out alot with Children's activities.

Since this is a new year I feel like everything can start over fresh. No mistakes in it yet. So good luck with your new year.

End of a year and promises of a New Year

The end of one year and the beginning of a next. Most people are busy visiting friends and loved ones. Making New Year's resolutions about losing weight or quitting smoking. But here it is the same. But my resolutions are simple: Get Organized-both in my personal world of home and kids, but also for my business. I am seriously committed to making this work and it will work but it will take alot of work on my part. But also to make this my new motto. "Don't let me be so busy making a living that I forget to make a life."

Here is a place to find some very nice Inspirational Quotes:

The need to have a Schedule

It has been brought to my attention that in order to be successful a schedule is very necessary. I have been operating under the idea that "oh after bed or oh after the kids..." I would have plenty of time to work on my toys. WELL....didn't really work out that way.

I have been feeling a lot of stress for many reasons but in order to get things under control I need to figure out some sort of scheduling. So I am creating a daily calender using Cozi.

I am finding that I need to schedule everything. That is including time for errands, travel time to and from places etc. I also need to create a project schedule. Just like back in college I have to have specific deadlines for different parts of my project. Such as cut fabric and lay out pattern on day 1, day 2 attach 8 pieces etc. So lets see how that is going to work.

Free Virtual Books for my Readers

Mobistories is cute company that sells virtual books for kids. I just
bought a few for my son and daughter. Because they are so confident that
your kids will like them they are giving my readers $10 worth of credit to
try them out. Use the code BSM214A to get your discount. This code can get
you at least two books, plus there a free book you can select as well. Once
you buy them you will get a confirmation in your inbox with the downloads
available. You can download them right to your computer or download them to
a CD. These look like they would be great to use on road trips and they
would also make great stocking stuffers! Enjoy! Click here for Mobistories.

Rethinking the Plans

It is our attitude at the beginning of a difficult task which, more than anything else, will affect it's successful outcome.
--William James

How true this is. I believed that I could make all the stuff I wanted and have it all posted to the store before black friday.

Well today is the day after and I am still working on them. My goal is to post one a day from now til christmas. That is 26 days. I need to sit down and just create a schedule for all us. Especially since I am taking on an overnight job. The good thing is while I am there I can use the time to study and work on my own school work.

I have found that scheduling is becoming difficult and more necessary than ever.

Before I am done I will become organized.

Steps into the water

Hello,

Well now that I have set up my shop on Etsy.com and even listed a few items I am excited. Here I am starting my own business. Does it matter that it isn't a Brick and Morter? I don't think so. I actually feel that I am doing a thing but having it online rather than in a town. Cause in a town you are limited to how many people actually see it but online millions of people can see it. So come and visit any time you want.

Baby Steps...

Well in order for any thing to work you need to be organized and prepared. So that is what I am doing.

I am cleaning up my house and putting everything in its place. The goal is to have my family start taking more responsibility for things. I know in my head that I can't do it all but what mom doesn't try? I run my own daycare, go to college, am a Brownie Troop Leader, and budding entrepreneur.

Baby Steps into Blogging

Welcome to everyone and anyone who stops by.

Here I am venturing out into the great unknown of Self-Employment. I have a Daycare and am starting a home business for Children's Toys. I have made the decision that I am going to Home school my 8 year old daughter and be a Brownie Girls Scout Leader this year. I hope to share the knowledge that I have acquired about many different things with those who are interested and maybe learn some new things for me. As I tell my daughter "every time you learn something new, you get a wrinkle in your brain." So here's to making more wrinkles.

I am a mom to 2 wonderful Children a daughter who is 8 years old and a son who is 1 year old. I am married to a man that if you told me when we met 12 years ago we would be married I would have said "You are crazy." But here we are.

I know lots of people who love to blog about all sorts of things. Sharing tips with the world and getting product knowledge out there. So I decided to jump on the wagon and see where this trip will go...
